Today we are joined by choreographer, Trey McIntyre. Yesterday, on August 4th, 2020, Trey announced the reimagining of his Trey McIntyre Project, as a way to adapt dance to the COVID era. He has dubbed this new project, FLTPK (flatpack) which is an online subscription service that gives viewers access to one-of-a-kind, original dance works by some of the greatest dance makers on the planet. Access to these works is exclusive to FLTPK’s Patreon platform accessible at fltpk.com.
We talk with Trey about what life has been like for him since the pandemic hit the U.S. in March, how he has been able to be creative during this time, how this idea came about, and how FLTPK works. Learn more at fltpk.com.
Conversations on Dance is brought to you by Yumiko.
