IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN! With 2011 coming to a close, the Top Dance Blogs of 2011 contest is here! Last year, with your help, I was able to place 4th in the overall category of “Favorite Dance Blog.” As last year, I am entering into the category of Dancer Musings, which is sure to be a tight race. The way the blogs will be judged is based on reader support.

- Then, on December 27th, 20 blogs with the most support will qualify for the voting round. The winner and the ranking will be decided based on reader’s votes.

Yay! Love the photos, the videos, the interviews with principals and corps members alike, on subjects profound and trivial. It’s a long way to Miami from here, but your blog makes it seem a lot closer. Thanks!
Rebecca, your Tendus Under a Palm Tree is my go to blog. Not only for all things ballet, but when I simply need a lift after a difficult day. Your blog is not only very informative, it always brings a smile to my face. Good luck. I’ll certainly be voting for you again this year.
Rebecca King’s blog Tendus Under a Palm Tree is a consistently thoughtful and delightful blog. It is a beautifully written report from the front lines (okay, actually the back lines) of the ballet dancer’s experience – the view from the corps de ballet. I simply enjoy it and open it first every time it hits me inbox.
A wonderful website with thoughtful posts and fantastic video & picture coverage. Also especially enjoy reading about one of my favorite dancers in MCB!!
