This week on ‘Conversations On Dance’, we are joined by in-demand choreographer and artistic director of BalletMet, Edwaard Liang. Liang danced for the New York City Ballet, where he rose to the rank of soloist. He later joined the Netherlands Dance Theatre, and performed in the broadway show ‘Fosse’. These influences have shaped his choregraphic talents, which are sought all of the globe. He has choreographed for the Bolshoi Ballet, the New York City Ballet, The Kirov Ballet, Shanghai Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and many more. In our final episode from our time at the San Francisco Ballet’s ‘Unbound’ festival, we talk with Edwaard about his then upcoming premiere for the company.
This episode is brought to you by Yumiko and San Francisco Ballet.
