This episode was recorded in February, when Rebecca & Michael were at the Kennedy Center to cover American Ballet Theatre’s tour to Washington, D.C. We sit down to finally catch up on Michael’s experience setting a ballet for the very first time. Michael spent about a month in Phoenix with the wonderful dancers of Ballet Arizona to teach them Justin Peck’s ballet ‘In Creases.’ He shares with us how he prepared, what the first day was like, how he modeled his work ethic, and what it felt like to see the ballet on stage for the first time.
This episode is brought to you by Yumiko and The Kennedy Center.
